Welcome to The Wildlife Collective Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “The Wildlife Collective” “we,” or “us”). We are a conservation focused entity that offers online services, including online training and mentoring, and in-person photo tours around the world.
These Terms govern your use of our service. As used in these Terms, “The Wildlife Collective service,” “our service” or “the service” means the service provided by The Wildlife Collective for discovering and watching online training, including all features and functionalities, Website (as defined below), and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.

The Wildlife Collective may, from time to time, change these Terms. Such revisions shall be effective immediately; provided however, for existing members, such revisions shall, unless otherwise stated, be effective thirty (30) days after posting. Your continued use of our services following the posting of the revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
4. Communication Preferences
By using The Wildlife Collective, you consent to receiving electronic communications from The Wildlife Collective relating to your account. These communications may involve sending emails to your email address provided during registration or transactional communications on The Wildlife Collective You agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing. You also consent to receiving certain other communications from us, such as newsletters about new The Wildlife Collective features and content, special offers, promotional announcements, and customer surveys via email or other methods. If you no longer want to receive certain non-transactional communications, you can always change your preferences or opt out.
5. The Wildlife Collective Service
The The Wildlife Collective website, thewildlifecollective.com (“Website”) and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including, but not limited to, all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by us, our licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Any content viewed through our service are for your personal and non-commercial use only. You agree not to use the service for public performances.
You may view an online training course through The Wildlife Collective service primarily within the country in which you have established your account and only in geographic locations where we offer our service and have licensed such courses. The number of devices which you may simultaneously watch is limited. The number of devices available for use and the simultaneous streams may change from time to time at our discretion.
We continually update The Wildlife Collective service, including the content library. In addition, we continually test various aspects of our service, including our website, user interfaces, service levels, plans, promotional features, availability of courses, delivery and pricing. We reserve the right to, and by using our service you agree that we may, include you in or exclude you from these tests without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this Website, and any service or material we provide on the Website, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of the Website, or the entire Website, to users, including registered users.
The availability of courses to watch will change from time to time, and from country to country. The quality of the display of the courses may vary from computer to computer, and device to device, and may be affected by a variety of factors, such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your Internet connection. HD and Ultra HD availability is subject to your Internet service and device capabilities. Not all content is available in HD or Ultra HD and not all plans allow you to receive HD or Ultra HD content. A download speed of at least 5.0 Mbps per stream is recommended to receive HD content, which is defined as 720p or better. A download speed of at least 25.0 Mbps per stream is recommended to receive Ultra HD content, which is defined as resolution greater than 1080p. You are responsible for all Internet access charges. Please check with your Internet provider for information on possible Internet data usage charges. The Wildlife Collective makes no representations or warranties about the quality of your watching experience on your display. The time it takes to begin watching a course will vary based on a number of factors, including your location, available bandwidth at the time, and courses you have selected.
We may terminate or restrict your use of our service, without compensation or notice if you are, or if we suspect that you are (i) in violation of any of these Terms; or (ii) engaged in illegal or improper use of the service.
6. Passwords & Account Access
The member who created the The Wildlife Collective account and whose Payment Method is charged is referred to here as the “Account Owner.” The Account Owner has access and control over the The Wildlife Collective account. The Account Owner’s control is exercised through use of the Account Owner’s password and therefore to maintain exclusive control, the Account Owner must treat such information as confidential, and the Account Owner must not disclose it to any other person or entity. The Account Owner agrees to notify The Wildlife Collective immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your user name or password or any other breach of security. In addition, if the Account Owner wishes to prohibit others from contacting The Wildlife Collective Customer Service and potentially altering the Account Owner’s control, the Account Owner should not reveal the Payment Method details (e.g., last four digits of their credit or debit card, or their email address if they use PayPal) associated with their account. All the information you provide as the Account Owner is correct, current, and complete and the Account Owner is responsible for updating and maintaining the correctness, currentness, and completeness of such information.
In order to provide you with ease of access to your account and to help administer the The Wildlife Collective service, The Wildlife Collective implements technology that enables us to recognize you as the Account Owner and provide you with direct access to your account without requiring you to retype any password or other user identification when you revisit the The Wildlife Collective, which includes accessing via the Website.
You should be mindful of any communication requesting that you submit credit card or other account information. Providing your information in response to these types of communications can result in identity theft. Always access your sensitive account information by going directly to the Website and not through a hyperlink in an email or any other electronic communication, even if it looks official. The Wildlife Collective reserves the right to place any account on hold anytime with or without notification to the member in order to protect itself and its partners from what it believes to be fraudulent activity. The Wildlife Collective is not obligated to credit or discount a membership for holds placed on the account by either a representative of The Wildlife Collective or by the automated processes of The Wildlife Collective.
7. Intellectual Property
Copyright. The Wildlife Collective service, including all content provided on the Website is protected by copyright, trade secret or other intellectual property laws and treaties.
Trademarks. The Wildlife Collective is a registered trademark of The Wildlife Collective Ltd. The Wildlife Collective name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of The Wildlife Collective , its affiliates, subsidiaries, or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of The Wildlife Collective.
8. Governing Law
For all other The Wildlife Collective members, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
You may also be entitled to certain consumer protection rights under the laws of your local jurisdiction.
You may encounter third-party applications (including, without limitation, websites, widgets, software, or other software utilities) (“Application(s)”) that interact with The Wildlife Collective service. These Applications may import data related to your The Wildlife Collective account and activity and otherwise gather data from you. These Applications are provided solely as a convenience to you, and The Wildlife Collective is not responsible for such Applications. Such applications are owned or operated by third parties that are not related to with or sponsored by the wildlife collective and may not be authorized for use with our service in all countries. use of an application is at your own option and risk.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Wildlife Collective, its affiliates, licensors and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Website.
By submitting a testimonial to The Wildlife Collective, you hereby grant The Wildlife Collective, its affiliates and related entities the right to use your name, image and quote, or any portion thereof, that you have provided to The Wildlife Collective in connection with any marketing or branding by or on behalf of The Wildlife Collective and its affiliates. You have full power and authority to grant the rights stated above. The Wildlife Collective is not responsible for the content or the accuracy of such information.
You further agree that we may edit the length of your testimonial and publish edited or partial versions of the testimonial. However, we will never edit a testimonial in such a way as to create a misleading impression of your views. You may terminate this license by giving to us 30 days’ written notice of termination.
13. Refund policy.
If you are unsatisfied with a purchase of an online digital product, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
- 25% deposits are required at the time of booking.
- Full payment must be made 90 days before departure.
- Guests can cancel a tour up to 180 days before departure with no penalty from the Wildlife Collective.
- Deposits will be refunded.
- Any costs that are not refunded to the Wildlife Collective by third parties, such as by credit card processors, airlines or hotels will be subtracted.
- If a guest requests cancellation with less than 180 days, but more than 90 days remaining to departure, only 50% of the deposit will be refunded, minus any costs that are not refunded to the Wildlife Collective.
- Guests requesting cancellations with 90 days or less remaining before departure will be liable for the full cost of the tour.
- If a replacement guest is found for a guest that cancels within 180 days remaining to departure, the full amount will be refunded to the guest, minus any costs that are not refunded to the Wildlife Collective by third parties, such as by credit card processors, airlines or hotels will be subtracted.
- If a trip must be rescheduled by the Wildlife Collective due to travel restrictions, quarantine impositions, or other events considered force majeure (defined below) that are Covid-19 related, a full refund for the trip will be issued, minus any processing fees.
- All guests are strongly encouraged to purchase “cancel for any reason” travel insurance.
- These COVID-19 Pandemic terms will remain in force till December 31, 2022.
A. Release and Waiver
Traveling on the trip implies consent to all of The Wildlife Collective’s terms and conditions. By booking with The Wildlife Collective, all travellers agree to the following:
All adventure travel is inherently risky, either directly due to the nature of the activities, or due to the area of travel.
By booking this travel, you and your group are indicating that you have agreed to The Wildlife Collective Terms & Conditions and are agreeing to the waiver of liability.
B. Waiver of Liability
I/we release and hold harmless The Wildlife Collective Ltd, and each and every officer, employee, and agent of The Wildlife Collective Ltd from any and all claims and causes of action that I/we may have against the company or persons, by reason of any accident, illness, injury, death, or other consequences resulting directly or indirectly from or in any manner arising out of, or in connection with participation in this travel.
Submitting a booking form along with a payment will constitute acceptance of these terms. The e-signature field on the booking form is intended to bind not only the travellers but also their successors, heirs, representatives, administrators, and assigns.
C. Booking Details
For adventures and expeditions, a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. The exact deposit amount will be stated clearly on the photo tour page. The remaining 75% is due 90 days before the tour start date. If booking less than 90 days before the tour start date, 100% of the tour price is due.
D. Cancellation Policy
If a guest cancels their reservation at least 180 days before the tour start date, the deposit will be refunded, minus any transaction fees. If cancellation occurs 180 days to 90 days before the tour starts, only 50 percent of the deposit is refunded, minus any transaction fees. In the cancellation occurs with 90 days or less, no amount is refunded. If a replacement guest is found, the Wildlife Collective will refund the tour minus any transaction fees. The Wildlife Collective is not liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest due to the cancellation of the tour because of a lack of participation. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of airline tickets, visas, hotels, and any other travel. This policy is in place to cover the charges incurred in planning and booking resources for each tour. The Wildlife Collective highly recommends trip cancellation insurance for all clients.
E. Tour Leader
On our escorted group tours we will appoint a Tour Leader who will represent the company and assist with the proper and safe running of you and your fellow participants’ tour. You must accept the decisions of the Tour Leader who shall have the discretion to make decisions and take action which may impact on your tour. If your physical condition or behavior is such as to affect the well-being of yourself or other members of the group or the enjoyment of other members of the group, you may be asked to leave the tour without any right to refund. If you wish to leave the group temporarily, you will be asked to sign a release form.
F. Replacement of Tour Leader
The Wildlife Collective reserves the right to replace any tour leader at any time due to unforeseen incidents, or events. Medical incidents or limitations, to the tour leader, or sickness to the leaders close family members may require a leader to be replaced. In the event of such an incident a leader will be sought who has the same skill set and knowledge of the country and the locations, but this cannot be guaranteed. If a leader has to be replaced, there are no grounds for refunds or cancellations.
G. The Wildlife Collective Trip Date Change Policy
In line with the terms of the local partners that The Wildlife Collective uses, a request for a trip date change will be seen as a cancellation with the above amounts refunded depending on when the date change is requested.
H. Included in Tour Price
The items included in the tour price are listed on each tour itinerary, webpage, or in email correspondence with regards to custom itineraries.

Any additional expenses incurred due to change in itinerary due to “force majeure,” outlined below.
J. Luggage Liability
The Wildlife Collective assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or delay in delivering luggage to tour guests. Luggage turned over to The Wildlife Collective for transport each day is done so at the guest’s own risk. Luggage insurance is recommended.
K. Minimum Guest Requirement
Up to 30 days prior to the start of the tour, The Wildlife Collective reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of guests has not been reached – even if guests have booked and fully paid by that time. In case a tour is cancelled by The Wildlife Collective before the start date due to a lack of guests, 100% refund will be paid to the guest. The Wildlife Collective is not liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest due to the cancellation of the tour because of a lack of participation. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of airline tickets, visas, hotels, and any other travel.
L. Force Majeure
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss or expense of any nature as a result of “force majeure”. In these booking conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include, whether actual or threatened, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, pandemics, epidemics, spread of infectious disease, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, the closure of international borders, imposition of travel bans or travel restrictions by governments, fire and all similar events outside our control.
M. Guest Behavior
Guests on a The Wildlife Collective tour are expected to comply with local laws and respect local traditions. If a guest is deemed unruly and a risk to the safety of the group, The Wildlife Collective reserves the right to cancel the contract. The Wildlife Collective is not responsible for further costs incurred by the guest.
N. Photo and Video Copyright
Any photos and/or videos produced by The Wildlife Collective or its representatives on tour are the property of The Wildlife Collective. The copyright rests with The Wildlife Collective. The Wildlife Collective can use any and all of this material for advertising and marketing purposes, including images where individual guests can be recognized, without any charge to The Wildlife Collective from the guest for use of the material.
O. Passport and Visa Compliance
Guests are responsible for having passports that have a minimum of 6 months remaining on their expiry and securing the required visas necessary for travel. The Wildlife Collective can advise on visa regulations and provide supporting documentation (itinerary and reservation confirmation).
The Wildlife Collective is responsible for providing the services listed in the tour description. The Wildlife Collective is not responsible or liable for any accidents. The Wildlife Collective reserves the right, without prior notice, to withdraw any, part, or all of a tour and/or to make the necessary changes. Any costs, if and where applicable, as a result thereof, shall be paid by the guest. Furthermore, it is agreed and understood that the owners, operators and agents of this tour including The Wildlife Collective are not the guardians of any guest’s safety. In addition they, individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence connected to the operation or the guest’s participation on the tour which might result in injury, death or other damage to the guest.
