Hello from the end of the world

Feb 26, 2024

Currently, I’m in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile, enjoying a family vacation while also on a scouting trip for pumas. The beauty of this place is absolutely striking, reminiscent of my home in the Canadian Rockies. The jagged peaks of the Paine Massif pierce the sky, their snow-capped summits reflecting the golden hues of the setting sun. Crystal-clear lakes mirror the awe-inspiring landscape, while glaciers glisten in the distance, their icy fingers reaching down into the rugged terrain. But amidst the breathtaking scenery, my focus remains on the elusive pumas that roam these vast expanses. Wish me luck!

2024 has kicked off at a brisk pace. January was all about the nitty-gritty of business—revamping the website, catching up on photo and video editing, and tackling tasks that had been put off for way too long. Not to mention spending much needed time at home with my family as I had traveled more than expected in 2023.

February took me to the remote highlands of Ecuador, one of my favorite places on the planet, to revisit the incredible Andean Bears who continue to enchant me more and more. I’ll be sharing more about this incredible experience, with some of the most incredible people, in my next newsletter. Here’s a sneak peak:

I’ve finally finished my 2023 Churchill polar bear video. This year was extra special with three incredible groups, each with very different experiences. Click the video below to experience this magical place!

This year’s polar bear tours are fully booked and there’s only a few spots remaining for my 2025 polar bear tours. Please let me know if you’re interested in joining me to see these incredible bears.
